S1- this is a normal statue upon first glance. BUT, if you stand directly in front of it and look into its eyes...a beat starts playing. Then it gives out instructions to the beat, like the toy Bop-It. It does NOT provide instructions, you just have to guess the meaning of the instructions. ("Bop it" means to tap its head. "Twist it" means to tweak its ears. "Poke it" means to poke its belly button. "Spank it" means to slap the statute's butt.) If you can go 10 instructions without messing up, you earn a charm that prevents damage for the next attack that hits you. This is repeatable only once, as the statue doesn't like to waste time on fools. However, if you mess up, the statue screams at you and stabs you in the midsection for 1d6 damage and you have to start over.
D13 is a normal trapdoor with ladder, except the rungs on the ladder become snakes if you don't keep moving. So if you pause for longer than 5 seconds any of the rungs, they become snaaaaakes and attack you!
P2 is a painting that magically calls to those who speak Elvish. When someone walks up to it and looks closely or investigates they become locked in that place as twin demons pop out and attack. Adventurers cannot run away or turn and stay facing the painting until the demons are defeated, even if the demons run away.
Using clues from P1 (enchanted pool), T2 (scroll of destiny), and P3 (bookcase of dessert recipes), adventures must find the correct 5 phrases to unlock the Power Obelisk (S2) which grants them release from the house (they are trapped) and the treasure of the Master of the Obelisk. But be warned! Many dangers await in... The Reclusive Master!
T1 and T3 are partner pieces; one has erotic poetry but is missing the explicit words and the other has ONLY those explicit words written on it. When you find them and read them together, the papers unite to make a moaning sound and they turn into a shiny golden bracelet that you can wear to ward off loneliness.
P5 is actually just made of strawberry jello
Anyone who puts their body into the jello becomes paralyzed for a short while.
