shall we begin?
001-002
Introducing Map Libs! On the 1st of every month I post a clean, isometric, one page dungeon map. You message me what you think the dungeon should be by the 15th in plain text. My favorite submission is formatted & posted with a new blank map on the 1st of the next month. Let's get weird. For the inaugural post I made a blank map . . . . .
and filled out its details as an example.
Below is the next blank map. I’ve been something of a shut-in this month so the theme seemed appropriate (minus the “wealthy” bit).
Crank up that imagination and submit your ideas for the map below in plain text format by May 15th for your shot at ETERNAL GLORY!
A few clarifications
Don’t feel like you need to have an entry for every point on the map.
Don’t limit yourself to the points that I have listed. example: “the hallway between d7 and d10 smells like freshly baked muffins”, “the path leading to d1 is a winding and overgrown briar patch”.
Be as concise as possible. It will help things fit on one page and make things easier for the game master that is running the map.
No stats are required for anything. The maps are intended to be system agnostic.
Please spread the word about the newsletter and share the maps!

P5 is actually just made of strawberry jello
S1- this is a normal statue upon first glance. BUT, if you stand directly in front of it and look into its eyes...a beat starts playing. Then it gives out instructions to the beat, like the toy Bop-It. It does NOT provide instructions, you just have to guess the meaning of the instructions. ("Bop it" means to tap its head. "Twist it" means to tweak its ears. "Poke it" means to poke its belly button. "Spank it" means to slap the statute's butt.) If you can go 10 instructions without messing up, you earn a charm that prevents damage for the next attack that hits you. This is repeatable only once, as the statue doesn't like to waste time on fools. However, if you mess up, the statue screams at you and stabs you in the midsection for 1d6 damage and you have to start over.
